On June 4, 2025, AKG officially inaugurated its new production site in Lorena, São Paulo State, Brazil, with a festive ceremony attended by company leadership, business partners, local representatives, employees, and their families.

In addition to Hartwig Pietzcker (Chairman of the AKG Group), the event was attended by Maximilian Henze (Managing Director COO) and Kariem Jaber (Managing Director Sales & Engineering), who joined local authorities, business partners, and employees in celebrating this important milestone.

Plant Manager Tobias Schäfer emphasized the significance of the moment in his speech:
“This new facility is not just a physical space – it’s a symbol of our commitment to the market, the quality of our products, and long-term sustainability.”

Following the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests were invited to tour the state-of-the-art facility, designed with a strong focus on energy efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

Key facts about the new site:

  • 48,000 m² total land area, with approximately 7,000 m² of building space
  • Designed for up to 250 employees
  • Initial production capacity: up to 5,000 heat exchangers per month

With this investment, AKG expands its presence in South America, demonstrating its commitment to growth, innovation, and customer satisfaction.
