Change in Management at AKG Group
As of July 1, 2025, Kariem Jaber takes over as Managing Director Sales & Engineering at the AKG Group. He succeeds Dr. Peter Friedrich, who steps down after 22 successful years and will continue to support the company in an advisory role.

Hofgeismar, July 7, 2025 – The AKG Group is realigning its leadership team: As of July 1, 2025, Kariem Jaber has been appointed Managing Director Sales & Engineering. He succeeds Dr. Peter Friedrich, who is stepping down from his role on schedule after 22 years as part of the executive management team. The AKG Group extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Friedrich for his outstanding work and dedicated service. In recognition of his exceptional expertise and long-standing contributions to the company, AKG is pleased that Dr. Friedrich will continue to support the Group in an advisory capacity beyond his formal departure.
Kariem Jaber began his career with the AKG Group in September 2010. Over the years, he took on increasing responsibilities, first as a Project Engineer for OEM customers and later as Sales & Engineering Manager at AKG Japan in Yokohama, where he worked for five years. In 2018, he returned to Germany to lead Sales & Engineering for the industrial applications division. Since 2023, he has served as Group Vice President Sales & Engineering.
In his new role, Mr. Jaber brings over a decade of experience in sales, business development, and engineering of complex technical products—complemented by extensive leadership experience in international B2B operations.
