AKG joins the “Bahnmacher Kassel” – tram premiere showcases the strength of the rail industry
On September 15, 2025, the newly designed tram of the Bahnmacher Kassel made its debut. Together with eight other regional companies, we are demonstrating that Kassel is a strong hub for the rail industry and actively shaping the future of mobility.

On September 15, 2025, the Bahnmacher Kassel proudly unveiled their newly branded tram to the public. Joined by Kassel’s Mayor Dr. Sven Schoeller, District Administrator Andreas Siebert and numerous guests, the tram set off on its inaugural journey from the Kassel City Museum to the Kongress Palais.
The Bahnmacher Kassel are a network of nine regional companies with more than 5,000 employees, working together to strengthen the rail industry. From door systems and signaling technology to digital solutions and thermal management, the network covers all key technologies for rail vehicles.
