Record participation at the Kassel Marathon 2025: With more than 14,700 registrations, AKG once again joined the event – with two relay teams and colleagues competing in the half marathon and marathon.

From September 12 to 14, 2025, the Kassel Marathon took place – and with more than 14,700 registrations, this year’s Kassel Marathon set a new record. AKG was proudly part of it: two relay teams – the “Cool-Down-Runners” and “HeatXpress” – took on the challenge with great team spirit and determination. In addition, two colleagues successfully completed the half marathon and the marathon as individual runners.

As an official partner of the Kassel Marathon, AKG once again supported the event this year – a strong sign of our regional commitment and our dedication to sports.

The Kassel Marathon is one of the largest running events in Northern Hesse, attracting thousands of participants and spectators each year. We are proud of our AKG team and say thank you to everyone who ran or cheered along the course.

We are already looking forward to the Kassel Marathon 2026!
