AKG at the ECS Simulation Conference 2025
Our experts presented innovative simulation methods for brazed plate Heat Exchangers at the renowned conference in Austria.

Impressions from the ECS Simulation Conference 2025: AKG experts presenting and engaging in expert discussions with the international audience in Waidhofen an der Ybbs.
On May 14–15, 2025, AKG participated in the ECS Simulation Conference held in Waidhofen an der Ybbs, Austria. The event brought together professionals from the automotive and simulation sectors to share knowledge and discuss future developments.
In their presentation, Dr.-Ing. Katerina Hatesuer and Christian Djeufack introduced their findings on the validation of 1D models of aluminium brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHX) for refrigerant circuits using KULI-HVAC. The aim: to develop compact and scalable cooling solutions for electric vehicles that integrate easily into different platforms.
To ensure realistic simulations, the models were calibrated using experimental test data. Dr.-Ing. Andre Zucht actively contributed to the expert discussion that followed, further highlighting AKG’s strong expertise in Thermal Management.
Many thanks to the organizers for this excellent opportunity to showcase our work and to our team on site!
