Data Protection Declaration
We take data privacy very seriously. The information you give us will, of course, be used in a strictly confidential manner, and only authorised persons within the AKG Group who are bound to secrecy will have access to your data. We process and use your personal data exclusively to process your application effectively and correctly in line with the valid data protection regulations.
Responsible office
If an application is submitted for a specific vacancy, the office responsible for collecting data through the online application portal is the named company in the AKG Group seeking to fill this vacancy; the address data is stated on the vacancy posting. You will also find all the addresses of the relevant companies at the end of this declaration.
Processing purpose
Personal application data is only collected and processed for the purpose of filling vacancies within the company based on Art. 6 Par. 1 lit. b) DSGVO - General Data Protection Regulation - in conjunction with § 26 Par. 1 BDSG - Federal Data Protection Act (2018).
Recipient categories
If you are submitting an online application for a specific vacancy, your data will be automatically forwarded to the responsible personnel officer of the company in the AKG Group seeking to fill this vacancy. In this case, data will not be forwarded automatically or manually without your consent, unless we are obliged to do so by law. If you want to submit an unsolicited application through the online application portal, your data will be automatically forwarded to relevant companies in the AKG Group or the local personnel officers based on your skill set.
Right to object
You are entitled to submit an objection to the data protection supervisory authorities at any time. You can find the supervisory authorities responsible for us here.
Storage period
Your data will be saved for the duration of the application process; after a decision has been made about your application or after the vacancy has been filled, the data will be saved for a further 6 months; in the case of unsolicited applications, or if you give your consent, the data will be saved for a longer period for future vacancies, however for a maximum period of two years.
Rights of access, rectification, deletion, objection and data portability
You may exercise your right to information, or the correction and deletion of data at any time. If you would like data to be deleted, but we are still bound by statutory storage specifications, access to your data will be restricted (blocked). The same applies in the case of an objection. You can exercise your right to data portability, if the recipient and we have the technical means for this. To this end, you can request the blocking, rectification or deletion of your data we have collected by sending an e-mail to:
