Purpose of Data Processing
During your visit to our premises, we process personal data in order to ensure proper access control and to safeguard the security of employees, visitors, operational facilities, and assets.
The processed data may include, in particular:
- First and last name
- Company name
- Time of visit (arrival and departure from the premises)
- Vehicle license plate number
- Internal contact person
Legal Basis for Processing
Your personal data is processed on the basis of
Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).
Our legitimate interest lies in particular in:
- ensuring access control
- maintaining security on the company premises
- protecting employees, visitors, operational processes, and property
Data Retention Period
Your personal data will be stored only for as long as is necessary to achieve the purposes stated above.
Once the purpose of processing no longer applies, the data will be deleted in accordance with data protection regulations, unless statutory retention obligations require otherwise.
Disclosure of Data
Your personal data will generally not be disclosed to third parties.
Data may only be transferred if we are legally obliged to do so or if external service providers are engaged as processors in accordance with Article 28 GDPR.
No transfer of data to third countries takes place.
Rights of Data Subjects
You have the right to request confirmation from the controller as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed. If this is the case, you have the right to access such personal data and to the information specified in detail in Article 15 GDPR.
You have the right to request the immediate rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete personal data (Article 16 GDPR).
You have the right to request the immediate deletion of personal data concerning you if one of the reasons listed in Article 17 GDPR applies, in particular if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was processed (right to erasure).
You have the right to request the restriction of processing if one of the conditions set out in Article 18 GDPR is met, for example if you have objected to the processing and while the objection is being reviewed.
Right to Object
You have the right, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you (Article 21 GDPR).
The controller will then no longer process the personal data unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or unless the processing serves the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR (Article 77 GDPR).
