As one of the main sponsors of the Hofgeismar Children's Advent Run, AKG has once again covered the costs for the treatment of children born with clubfoot in developing countries.

Once again, many children took part in this year's Advent run through Hofgeismar city center on December 9, 2023. The charity run was organized by LG Reinhardswald and the city of Hofgeismar. As one of the main sponsors, AKG once again covered the costs of treating a child born with clubfoot in a developing country.

Initiator Peter Göring and Dr. Armin Martin were delighted that the campaign received such a positive response. Under the motto "Children run for children, so that children can run", 30 children contributed significantly to financing the treatment of children with clubfeet through their participation fees.

The money raised will go to Miracle Feet Germany. The aid organization has set itself the task of enabling children with clubfeet to receive treatment and thus lead a happy life.

Generous donations from private individuals and companies significantly exceeded expectations, with an impressive result of almost 9,000 euros. The participation of athletics star Laura Hottenrott added extra sparkle to the run.

Göring is overwhelmed by the help he receives everywhere: "Be it from the city or other companies. I'm running into open doors with my cause and receive a lot of support. Thank you very much for that!"
